Vista's service packs as 7's are individual only and do not include the service pack behind it. I have to go straight to bed shortly, but to answer your question, Vista Service Packs are considered so grand and complex that it does not follow the rule, nor will Windows 7 service packs if one gets released above service pack 1. Good luck in the mean time. You use your hardware ID to locate the software on the internet.įirst off, I want to know what service pack his system says, if it says Vista SP2, then he has SP1 as well. You only count both sides of the first ampersand ("&") and stop there. You're looking for something that looks like this: "VEN_14F1&DEV_2F20" (this is for my Modem, not the 3DS capture board). The Hardware ID can be found in Device Manager, find the driver/hardware in question, open up its properties, click on the Details TAB, then choose "Hardware ID".

I'm in a hurry for work or else I'd have a better post, but if I get time tonight from work, I'll look up the Hardware ID of the driver and hunt for a version that is higher than that of the build in the picture submited.

Your driver you're trying to use states Windows 7 Final driver version, and not ALL Windows 7 drivers and Vista drivers can be cross platform, although it's like that for almost most of the time.

I noticed when I tried to install on Windows 7 that I had to do this (yeah, I know you're talking about Vista) because by selecting the x86 32 bit folder, it would not install properly.

Because i did hear that Katu's you can't really set it down that well on its back without slightly damaging it? Or some other things.Make sure you are updated to Vista Service Pack 2 (of course, you'll need SP1 first to do that) and then restart the PC, tell the PC you have a device to install, then choose "have disk" in which you need to download Loopy's drivers pack, then select the MAIN FOLDER that houses both the x86 32 Bit Drivers and the 圆4 64 bit drivers (you could probably also update the drivers as well and choose the main folder with the downloaded drivers in it). Im sure when he comes back he will get a flood of orders from all sorts of people, i heard rumors that when he gets too many people sometimes he runs out of capture cards quickly, is this true? That was my only worry with waiting with other people for Loopy to arrive, don't know if he is limited on stock or.But! In any of the case, im for sure going to wait for Loopy now, i rather wait for a good product instead of spending the donations i got from my amazing twitch viewers on the good product instead of the bad and not being able to fix it if it breaks. But a few questions about him since i haven't really done much research on him. But if he is coming back in a couple months, then im for sure going to wait. I did some pretty good research for weeks and i did notice a lot of downsides about Katsu's so i was willing to take the risk since Loopy seemed like he retired or so. Thank you everyone so much for the feedback! If what some say is true that Loopy is coming back then ill for sure wait since i heard he works in the US. I'm not saying I understand how these capture cards are made, but from the feedback I've seen from others I'd assume it takes quite awhile. I don't know of anyone else at the moment that's still active in the manufacturing of 3DS capture cards, but if getting a 3DS capture card is a top priority for you right now I'd say invest in one right now and wait it out. From what I've heard recently, the capture cards Katsukitty produces seems to be of great quality, hence why her prices are somewhat absurd but understandable due to the circumstances. Nairo (a professional super smash bros player) also had to wait 8+ months for his N3DSXL to arrive as well. Etika mentions in his livestream video that he had to wait a long time for his order of a N3DSXL with a capture card in black, which he ended up getting in red instead. It's no surprise that she's difficult to get in contact with, and she's not giving any special treatment to people of fame whatsoever. Katsukitty is seemingly the only person at the moment actively producing and selling 3DS/N3DS capture cards, and it doesn't help that she resides in Japan too.
